artist statement
My work mainly consists of design, painting, photography, and printmaking. Materials that I use when designing are illustration boards, acrylic paints, gouache paint, and India ink. When using acrylic paint, I mostly use complementary colors because it creates a strong contrast, and also when using different tonal values, it brings out the essence of the image. I use meticulous, clear linework in each composition to create a sense of visual balance through repetitive mark-making.

Most of the art pieces I have recently worked on have been of mythical creatures such as dragons, wolves, griffins, and chimeras. The mystery and stories behind them are fascinating to me because of the things they could do that are out of this world. I have also taken a liking to exploring Greek mythological creatures and the features that they are associated with and bringing the best of them through my art.
